1. No Santa Claus are allowed on any Entries or Floats. In order to preserve the magic of Christmas for children, we only have one Santa in the parade, which is already provided by the Kansas Community Corporation. Thank you for your cooperation.
2. Remember, this is a lighted Christmas parade, all entries must be adorned with lights.
3. Handing out candy or other objects is permitted. Please use caution when
   throwing objects or candy towards spectators.
4. All participants must check in and be registered at the registration table no
   later than 6:15 pm, to collect their numbers. Check in table will be located at the corner of Buena Vista and Catherine and will be open at 5:45 pm. The parade will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
5. Drivers of motorized vehicles must have a valid driver’s license.
6. All drivable units will use caution while traveling in the parade route and all entries must maintain a forward motion with approximately 30 feet between each entry.
7. Smoking and use of and/or possession of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
8. Open flames on floats will not be permitted
9. Flags and signs supporting or opposing politicians or political parties are not permitted. The parade is celebrating the joy of Christmas and Community.
10. Horse entries must have clean-up designees or wear a bag.
11. As a courtesy to the other participants of the parade, do not dissolve until you reach the end of the parade route.

The Kansas Community Corporation assumes no responsibility for participant behavior, accidents, injuries, damages or losses of any kind. Participation is at your own RISK and is VOLUNTARY.

The 2024 Lighted Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 14th. The parade will begin at 6:30 pm and travel down Buena Vista Street from Catherine Street to Front Street for the entire community to enjoy.
